Carla B. Boone was born and raised in Brooklyn New York's Fort Greene Houses.
She attended Franklin D. Roosevelt High School and was accepted into the Co-Op program where she worked one week at the nation's largest pension system as a clerk-typist and went to school the following week. Graduating 6 months early, she accepted a full-time position while simultaneously pursuing and receiving her Bachelors Degree from the Long Island University's Brooklyn Campus in Business Management. She also held the Series 6, 63, and 26 Federal Securities Licenses, the Chartered Mutual Funds Counselor (CMFC) designation and completed several Life Office Management Association (LOMA) Courses. Carla's meteoric rise from a clerk-typist to Advisory Officer within her 20+ year career is a true testament to her work ethic, abilities, determination for success and overall talent.
Carla was not a novice in the Entertainment Industry when she started her Entertainment Company. She is an accomplished singer, actress and Entertainer and has performed in various venues to critical acclaim.
She is a firm believer in the saying "to whom much is given, much more is required." She, therefore, started a non-profit, self-funded youth organization "Blessed with Colour" in 1998 in her hometown mentoring youth residing in her community and providing assistance to Grandmother's raising their Grandchildren. Numerous celebrities and their assistants provided support to her endeavors including The Koolest Legend DJ Red Alert, Producers Kerry "Krucial" Brothers (Alicia Keys' Producer), Elijah Wells (Nina Sky's Manager, Sean Paul Producer), MC Lyte, The Fu-Schnikens, Cal Ramsey, A Tribe Called Quest, Milk and Giz, the late Chris Lighty and others.
Carla believes strongly in performing civic duties and has served on the Boards of several of her homeowners' Associations.
Carla is the Executive Producer, Director & Co-Editor of the groundbreaking documentary In Justice for All...Summary Mis -Judgment exposing How Hollywood, allegedly, Steals...In the Name of the Law (Summary Judgment (see Preview Below).
Her original screenplay Who Takes The W(R)AP has been accepted for production by an Emmy Award winning producer who has developed it into a television series for worldwide viewership in the coming year.
