Carla B. Boone, President and CEO OF Holla'back Records, Ent. & Mgt. South...LLC, is a graduate of Franklin D. Roosevelt High School and, subsequently, Long Island University's Brooklyn Campus. She graduated in 1989 from L. I. U. with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. Carla worked full time, while pursuing her Bachelor's degree. For over 25+ years, she worked for the nation's largest Pension System. Her meteoric rise through this organization, from a Clerk-Typist to an Officer, is a true testament to her work ethic, dedication, abilities and talents. She also held the Series 6, 63 and 26 Federal Securities Licences and the CHFC (Chartered Mutual Funds Counselor) Designations. Additionally, Carla successfully completed numerous CLU and LOMA examinations.

Carla is a firm believer that "to whom much is given, much more is required." She takes great pride in "giving back" to the community and to her civic responsibilities.  Thus,  she founded and self funded a non-profit organization, Blessed with Colour in 1988. This non-profit youth organization provided mentoring to at risk youth residing in the neighborhood where she was born and raised, Fort-Greene Brooklyn, as well as assistance to Grandparents raising their grandchildren. Additionally, she held the position of President and served on the Board of Directors of her homeowners Associations. Several celebrities contributed to this organization's success/efforts including The Koolest Legend, DJ Red Alert, A Tribe Called Quest, MC Lyte, Milk and Giz (Audio Two), Kerry "Krucial" Brothers and others.

Carla has managed numerous hip hop and R&B artists, a gospel praise dancer and worked with super-producers, which charted platinum singles for Alicia Keys, 50-Cent and Sean Paul/Nina Sky in addition to WyClef Jean. Carla has also managed models and talent that have received starring roles in NBC's Conan O'Brien show, Essence magazine ads, CVS and numerous print advertisements throughout the United States and abroad.

Carla is the Executive Producer, Director and Co-Editor of her first film, In Justice for All...Summary Mis Judgment.  This groundbreaking Documentary shows How Hollywood, "allegedly" Steals Independent/Artists' songs, movies, cartoons etc....In the Name of the Law (Summary Judgment).
